Andy Bliss

A lifelong New York angler, Andy Bliss spends his time guiding in and around Oswego. Fortunate to be surrounded by world class fisheries, Bliss doesn’t have to veer far from home to wet a line. Owner and operator of Chasin’ Tail Adventures, Bliss is able to bounce between Lake Ontario and the rich steelhead and salmon rivers of Upstate NY.

He spends his winters and early spring tossing bait at rainbows, browns and steelhead on the Oswego and Salmon Rivers, prior to guiding Lake Ontario for trout and salmon. During the fall he migrates back to the rivers to target the fall kings.

Bliss is no stranger to publicity. He’s been featured on Rod & Reel with Bill Safe and on six eposides of Angling The Great Lakes: Lake Ontario Tournament Series as well as Behind The Lines. He’s also been featured in Lake Ontario Outdoors and is one of the lead guides contributing to the Oswego County fishing report.
