About Duane

Duane Inglin
A Northwest native, Duane Inglin, grew up fishing the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers and South Prairie Creek with his father, and even though he’s been a full time firefighter for more than two decades, he’s notched more hours on Washington’s rivers that most professional guides. Combining recreational and professional guiding, he’s logged more than 32 years of steelhead and salmon fishing in the region.

In between fighting fires and rescuing cats out of trees, Inglin performs guided drift boat trips on several South and Southwest Washington rivers, including the Chehalis, Wynoochee, Satsop, Humptulips, Cowlitz and Nisqually.

Inglin’s knowledges extends ions beyond his drift boat. With a master degree in Mix-Ology and a bachelors in Bait Thuggery, Inglin is an expert in baits, bait cures and scents and he can often be spotted at sportsman shows throughout the Northwest educating people on the advantages of proper curing and scenting techniques. He’s also a regular speaker/presenter at Cabela’s in Lacey, Washington.

Recently, Inglin became a household name in the Northwest after his run at an Outdoor Reality Competition Series dubbed “WANTED Adventure Host”. Here, Inglin competed with more than 600 other applicants to become the host of an Outdoor Adventure Show featured on ComcastSportsNet. He finished second and the stardom that ensued earned him a permanent Co-Host spot on Saturday mornings with Joel Shangle on Northwest Wild Country radio.
